Yep, will do. I checked on it this morning and am pretty sure I won't need to do another coat, and this was the biggest amount of colour. I'm going to give it tonight as well to dry fully and then look at taking the masking off tomorrow morning.

The bigger nerves will come next, because I have to mask over what I've just painted to do the second colour.  Undecided

Thankfully it's not warm here at the moment so it all seems to be drying quickly.

This is a bugbear of mine because you have to be pretty precise. Most of the time I spray one colour and paint the other. For example, Gladiator's "red" was sprayed and his blue pants were painted on. The red sits slightly higher than the unpainted area so you can gently nudge the second colour up against the 1st without going over it.

I have three colours to do. I really want to spray the second colour and then paint the third. Will see how I go I guess. If I totally screw it up I am still in a position to start again. *eek*

Either you put entirely too much thought into this, or I don't put nearly enough.

Pretty sure it's the first - I've never done this before.  thud.gif

Nope, it can be nervewracking stuff if you've never done it before. Little extra preparation will pay off. Keep it up!

Okay, took the masking off from the first colour and I'm not unhappy. There are a couple small leaks but nothing I'm going to cry over for my first attempt.

I am going to have to do a small touch up of undercoat on one section of leak before I go on the next colour, so that's today's job.  Thumbs Up

I am actually making a custom.  Jaw Drop

I must confess to being very excited to see what you're up to!

If you have some small bleeds, you can also use some sandpaper to gently sand the paint off. Use very fine sandpaper though. Something like P1000 or 1200 (granularity).

That's one of us!

Get your shit together man. You've got a title to defend.
