Found the Croc wave at Wally’s on Thur.  It’s really too bad Mattel is losing the license.  These are a big step forward.  Never did find the Lobo wave.  I expect to see it at Five Below, Ollie’s, or Big Lots before Christmas.

I realize that this thread hasn't been updated for a while. I'm a huge Marvel Legends collector as well as Transformers (Masterpiece, generations, etc)  I also have really been enjoying the new Hasbro Power Rangers as well. My question is........is it worth getting into DC?  I really only like 6 inch scale figures. I've seen some of the McFarlane stuff at Target, but they don't scale with anything.  I've been getting into DC comics and want to try the figures, but is it worth it?

I would argue that they are worth it, but at the end of they day it's up to you.  I'd suggest that you buy the comic Batman and Superman and see how you like them.  If you like them, great.  If not, you can end the collection at the World's Finest team-up.

I am considering that option along with the other comic based characters.  I am not sure about the Harley Quinn figure. She is supposedly "classic comic" but that face looks like an animated version. It looks well enough,  but that style just isn't for me. I like the idea that McFarlane is doing vehicles as well. I'm still on the fence about back collecting Mattel Multiverse  or DCUC. Some of the characters are ridiculously priced (Jessic Cruz, Batwoman) which is turning me away. Yes, first world problems, I know.

To me, biased as I am, it’s worth it.  But I’d cherry pick.  Characters you like/love.  Buy loose if possible.  If you’re concerned about scale, DCUC doesn’t scale well with Marvel Legends.  DCD/DCC doesn’t scale with itself.  2018/19 of Multiverse (blue boxes) does scale well with MLs, but there’s not much to pick from.

FWIW, I still feel like Todd screwed the pooch on scale.  Even if he hadn’t, character selection is abysmal.  I’m still cherry picking a few DCUC here and there to fill niches and hoping I can find an affordable Legion set at some point.  I may still pick up Batman Who Laughs.  Beyond that, I’ve picked up a few Marvel Legends is a sort of shotgun fashion.  No team or family building.  Just one offs.  Saw Shang Chi and couldn’t do without him.  Hoping for some comic accurate Eternals prior to the movie.  And the original Werewolf by Night would be awesome.  Still need Killraven.

Thanks Chooch and Gardner Grayle for the help!!  I think I'll start up with the McFarlane stuff since I don't have old DC stuff to pair it with and ill get a fresh start HOPING that Todd gets the character selection right.  I was wanting to get some sneak peeks at the the next few waves so I could have some hope for the future of this newly created line.  I have a Neca diorama set that I never opened that these figures would look great on. I have to imagine that if history is any indicator of DC LINES we will surely get Wonder Woman, Flash, a few Lanterns, etc.....I just hope it's not all Bat- focused.  We DEFINITELY need a good selection of bad guys!!!
