Wasn't the rumour that Lobo isn't actually Lobo and the weedy Twilight Lobo is actually Lobo and comes to have a word with 'our' Lobo?

....and is that the regular JL title he's in?

The only way this could pay off is if the old Lobo came in and just beat the shit out of the new Lobo in a four part special that was a blatant rip off of the "Deadpool kills" story.

That is so idiotic, why not make him Lobo's younger metrosexual borther Bolo and be done with it? I mean, is not even a reboot, Lobo already showed up in the N52.

I just don't get it...

You guys obviously aren't young and hip with the scene of modern comics.

...do the kids still say "hip" or "scene"?

Only when they are saying "I scene that old guy break his hip."

They're horrible at spelling and grammar because they don't have a cool Lobo and their Superman has an ugly belt.  Afro

Belts stop your pants from going beneath your butt and we don't want that.

I keep shopping for belts that point at my dick but those and neru armor tops seem completely sold out. Must be cause of how popular they are.

Lobo...is even worse...than I'd thought.

Weird that the cover is the old version and that this glowy faced twat is who they feature on the inside. Love his dainty lady drink, too. I always pictures Lobo as an Apple-tini kind of guy.

I'd say he looks like a bi-curious Mexican rapist. But I'm afraid all of the people I mentioned before (bi-curious people, Mexicans and rapists) are going to be offended by that remark...

E2

So I've been reading Earth 2 from go. I've enjoyed it & so far it's been among my favorites from the new stuff. I view all this as Elseworlds so that helps a lot. My biggest gripe so far has been Jay's costume. Then I get to the end of issue 13 today.....

SPOILER AHEAD!!!!

Red Lantern?!? Are you fuckin kidding me? My view of all this as an Elseworld should square this, but it doesn't. I can't get past the fact that E2 should only have one Lantern of any color & his name is Alan Scott. I didn't like this shit in DC proper, I don't like it in the Nuniverse & I certainly don't want it in the JSA book. I'm hoping when I read 14 tonight that there's a decent explanation, but I'm not holding my breath. I guess my point is that I fucking hate that this rainblow Lantern shit has to show up everywhere. I don't read those books because I hate the concept. Fat chance they would keep the shit confined to the Lantern books.

End rant.

Josey - I see your point. I dropped E2 pretty quickly, simply because I felt it was an Elseworlds book and while that's fine, I didn't like it at the expense of a JSA which was arguably my favourite title before DCNu. I miss my Alan, Jay and Ted, etc.

I read "Forever Evil #1". Seems like a pretty decent start. However, as I read it I was constantly distracted by Finch's rushed art. It's not particularly nice to look at, especially when you've seen him at his best. His depiction of Luthor in the first few pages made him look like some kind of human sized demented baby.

Yea, I see your point, Fish. It's definitely not the real JSA. I did enjoy MA JSA, but my favorite is WW2 era & A-SS, so I'd already lost "my" JSA. I think it also helps that JLA is unreadable (imho) & I do like a superstar fix in one team book.

Also, that Lobo is shit. It's fucked they put the real Main Man on the cover & that puny thing in the story.

And is Forever Evil where the CSA shows up, or in a regular monthly?

Yeah, I'm not enjoying the JL title either, though I really want to.

******SPOILER******

The CSA do show up in FE#1, but they first appeared in DCNu as a part of Trinity War in Justice League of America or JLDark.
