Did you ever have a figure that you didn't know the name to?, or perhaps you and a friend/sibling had the same character, and it was your favorite, so to differentiate the two, you gave him a new name? Or maybe it was a figure from a different line, but you wanted to chuck him in that X-Wing, or Skystriker?
So what do you do? You make up a new name!
I was going through my Vintage Star Wars figures, and came across Red Ghost.
Who is Red Ghost? Only the most badass warrior in the galaxy. Vader takes his orders from the Emperor, the Emperor kisses Red Ghost's ass.
Red Ghost, of course was just an Emperor's Royal Guard, but I have always called him Red Ghost. And I always will.

Actually, I had a Dr. Huer figure from Mego's Buck Rogers line, but I made him to be a General Cromwell, leader of all of my non-Star Wars figures.

When I was a wee lad someone gave me a loose Force Commander from the Micronauts. You know the big white guy with the magnets, shooting fists, etc. I had not the foggiest idea of his name or even what line he was from so he never had a name. He was just that kickass robot that used to have Jedi Luke's back when shit went down.
